Meet Our Team
Brenda Kelly is the owner of Yoga Blossom LLC and is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT 500 (registered yoga teacher).
She teaches yoga to children, older adults, and all ages in-between and at all levels of experience, from adaptive (wheelchair) yoga to advanced vinyasa (power flow).
She holds certifications with
SilverSneakers and offers chair yoga classes to those who qualify.
She is a PaddleFit Basic and Stoked Yogi SUP (stand up paddle board) Yoga Certified Coach.
She was also certified through Connected Warriors in Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
Brenda lives in Mandeville, LA with her husband and daughter. She loves spending time in the sun and on the water, swimming, paddle boarding, sun bathing, reading, painting, and solving puzzles.
Becca received her 200hr training as a Power Yoga teacher at Karma Yoga in San Francisco, Ca. Her approach to the physical practice is fun, inspiring and she will push you to your limits in a fast paced flow class. She will elevate your practice and make difficult shapes inviting and attainable, with intentional, creative sequencing.
Becca was born and raised in New Orleans, La and comes to Yoga Blossom from the west coast. She enjoys anything that takes her outdoors and loves her holy trinity: good people, good food, good times. Becca’s yoga journey started with 1 Bikram class in 2009 and she’s been addicted to exploring yoga ever since. Meet her on the mat for mindful movement.
Penny-Paige Murray completed her 200YTT with Shanti Yoga Training School in 2020.
She believes yoga is for everyone and strives to teach in a way that is accessible and approachable to all, with a strong emphasis on connecting slow breath to dynamic movement. She sees yoga practice as a wonderful path to supporting physical, mental, and spiritual thriving.
She lives in Madisonville with her husband and two kids and their golden doodle. She loves to spend time outdoors with her family and friends. She is also working towards a Masters in Counseling at SLU.
Faith Wilson completed her 200YTT with Zingara Yoga School in 2016. She had the privilege of training under teachers who generously shared their wealth of knowledge and expertise in yoga, yoga therapy, and the history and philosophy of Yoga.
Yoga has been an influential tool in her mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Her personal experience of health and healing through yoga has created a desire within her to share the gift of yoga with others by creating a sacred space of inclusion, where everyone feels welcome.
She incorporates the practice of centering, mindfulness, movement and breathwork in each of her classes and offers modifications depending on each individual’s needs. She truly believes yoga is for everyone and hopes to see her students experience the full spectrum of all its physical, mental, and spiritual benefits while practicing with her and her fellow teachers at Yoga Blossom.
Faith lives in Mandeville with her husband, their four kids, 2 cats, 14 chickens, and their golden doodle. She and her family spend as much time as they can outside, exploring nature with one another, their friends, and community. She has many hobbies which include indoor and outdoor gardening, biking, paddle boarding, reading, writing, painting, spending time with her family, neighbors and friends, and creating music whenever she has the opportunity to do so. She is also currently finishing her Psychology degree at Loyola University in effort to pursue a Masters in Counseling in the near future.
